The Importance Of A Keyword Rich Domain Name
It’s very important to buy a domain name with the keywords you potentially want to rank for in the future. For example if you wanted to go into the dog training niche you would want a domain name that contained dog and training.
If you look at any search term on Google you will notice that many of the sites on the first page contain the search term in the domain URL. It’s much easier to get www.dogtrainingguide.com to the number 1 spot for the keyword dog training guide than it would for www.doggyclassroom.com, although that’s a really cool name for a dog training guide it wont help you with Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
There are a number of tools that can help you do keyword research I prefer the Google Keyword Tool, you can enter a keyword idea and it can generate a list of keywords around that
